National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, Aizawl Scholarships and Funding
The Institution has introduced a Scholarship Scheme for SC/ST/Physically handicapped and Female Students of NIELIT O/A Level Courses.
Eligibility
a) The scheme will be applicable to SC/ST Physically handicapped/Female candidates who are pursuing NIELIT O/A level courses as full time through an Institute authorized to conduct the NIELIT accredited courses.
b) Candidates shall have to clear all the papers in the first attempt and complete the courses in number of attempts given in the subsequent paragraphs.
c) Income of the parents of the student from all sources shall not be more than Rs. 1 lac per annum.
Amount of Scholarship
The amount of scholarship shall be four times the examination fee paid per module Course-wise amount of scholarship and the number of installments is as under:-
1 ‘O’ - 1 year - 8,000/-
2 ‘A’ - 1 year - 20,000/-.
The entire cost of tuition for NIELIT Aizawl's Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) programme is INR 1.29 Lakh. An additional one-time entrance charge applies.
A BCA course in India might cost anywhere from INR 15,000 and 50,000, depending on the location, infrastructure, staff, and amenities of the college.
These are the fees for BCA programme at NIELIT Aizawl -
Admission Fee : Rs. 3,300/- (Payable for all Candidates)
Semester Tuition Fee : Rs. 24,000/- (Free for ST/SC candidates, 50% discount for OBC/General Candidates).
NIELIT Aizawl students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance to appear for the final exams and to become eligible for scholarships. Those students who don't have 75% attendance must submit a letter of reason. To have a better future, having good attendance is essential as low attendance means more classes have been missed which directly has an impact on the future of the students.

NIELIT Aizawl (formerly DOEACC Centre, Aizawl) was established in 2001 as a government/public college. Being a government college, the college's fees is not very high. Over the years, The college has upgraded itself to become a modern college equipped with all the latest facilities.
