In general, Nehru College of Pharmacy is regarded as a Tier 2 establishment. It does not have the same amount of national recognition or respect as some of the best pharmacy schools in India such as Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences or Jamia Hamdard while offering high-quality pharmacy education. Although Nehru College prioritizes strong academic credentials, knowledgeable teachers and strong industrial ties, its overall ranking and research output fall short of that of Tier 1 universities However in Kerala and the surrounding areas it continues to be a suitable alternative for students looking for high-quality education with reasonable placement possibilities and facilities.?

It is commonly thought that admission to Nehru College of Pharmacy is somewhat competitive. The fundamental requirements for admission to programs such as B.Pharma and D.Pharma are completing the 10+2 exam with a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics from an accredited board. Although certain schools may require entrance examinations or interviews, admissions are normally based on merit. The demand for pharmacy courses is growing thus the earlier you apply the better your chances are of getting accepted. The selection procedure is open and mostly focused on academic standing. Admission is often simple for candidates who complete the qualifying requirements and submit their applications on time.

Hello, the college does not provide any scholarship directly to the students but enables students to get education loan for their studies in the college and also sometimes allows delays in paying fees. However at the state level and also at the national level there are scholarships provided to the needy students. The college of course enables the students to apply for such scholarships. Sometimes these are directed to students from OBC or SC ST categories and sometimes they are directed to the students whose incompletable or below certain threshold. But this all are given by agencies other than the college. If a student is bright in studies, there are plenty of ways where she / he can get assistance from the government or some NGOs working in the education field. Best wishes to you.
