NMIT is college for BE courses in various branches such as ISE, ECE, CSE and mechanical engineering. It depends on which course you are applying for. If you go for ISE and CSE then it is one of the best college because placements are good. But for other branches placements are average. Good companies came here every year. So go for top branches. As it is autonomous college so marking scheme is also good.

Home State Quota and MNNIT Allahabad, these 2 phrases are not made for each other. Due to high number of JEE Aspirants from Uttar Pradesh there's no advantage of Home State Quota here. The opening and closing ranks of both Other State and Home State are similar for MNNIT.
