Both entrance exams and merit-based admissions are used. Both B.Tech. and M.Tech. admissions need students to submit counselling applications. For B.Tech admissions, candidates must have received a 10+2 in the Science stream. In order to qualify for admission, they must also pass the JEE Main exam.
