Here at PIBM Pune, your profile does matter up to a certain level. If you have a graduation degree with 50% marks and a valid entrance score (CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ MH-CET), then you can get admission to PIBM. However, if your score is lower than 50%, then you have to give an internal assessment exam called PMAT, which will analyse your competence and existing knowledge. Once you qualify for the assessment exam, you will be invited for the GD and PI rounds, where your communication skills, personality traits, leadership qualities, and overall suitability will be assessed. Further, you will receive an email from the admissions department containing the required documents for getting admission to the desired course.

Yes, PPOs (Pre‑Placement Offers) are definitely possible at PIBM.As an ex-student, I can say that one reason for this is the faculty with strong industry experience. They guide students throughout their internships, help them understand company expectations, and mentor them on how to deliver impactful results. This support increases the chances of students impressing recruiters during internships and securing PPOs for final placements.In short, with the right guidance and effort during the internship, getting a PPO at PIBM is very achievable.

From my experience as an ex-student, the faculty at PIBM for the PGDM/MBA programs has wide experience and is supportive. They come with an industry or academic background, which helps in relating classroom concepts to real-world business scenarios.They are accessible for doubts and try to help students improve concepts and skills, especially when it comes to preparation for exams, projects, and presentations. Like any institute, the benefit students get depends on how actively they engage in classes and seek guidance, but overall, the faculty's efforts do contribute positively to the learning experience.
