Polaris and Newton are not college and university itself, neither are they affiliated to any university as a college. They just "partner" with institutions to provide B.Tech degrees. These institutions mostly not well known universities with no legacy and ranking, like Madhavi, Rishihood, which are looking for a new stream of revenue for themselves. The partnership comes with trade offs and limitations, and they are bound to follow the same prescribed curriculum and rules of UGC and AICTE to function legally. Scaler is also not a college or university. But their structure is different. They don't partner with any institution and get complete freedom in choosing their own teachers and designing their own curriculum accordingly to market Standards by their own standards. The students there opt for 4 year Bsc/ degrees from BITs or IIT Madras, which are proper recognised degrees and equivalent to regular degrees, according to UGC guidelines. Also, these degrees are from well known institutions, which are also Institutes of eminence, not unheard institutions. A 4 year BS/ Bsc hons. degree and BE/ B.Tech are both equivalent to NcRF rating of 6, also known as Degree (hons.) category. That makes you eligible of exams like GATE, UPSC, CAT, GMAT, GRE for higher studies in India and abroad, and also for all sorts of relevant jobs.Having a degree from an Institute of Eminence is an added advantage in addition to good skill set, because you are often asked "whether your degree is from an Institute of Eminence" while filling forms of higher studies from IIMs and other Bschools in India and in college applications for doing MS and MBA abroad.
