DU SOL has 15 departments under which it offers UG and PG programmes. Classes for SOL DU 2023 academic session will start in mid-July 2023. The exact date will be announced closer to the start of the academic session. School of Open Learning, DU offers courses such as B.A. (Prog), B.A. (Hons), B.Com (Prog) and B.Com (Hons) in various specialisations at the UG level. The school offers M.A. And M.Com as its only academic programmes at the PG level. SOL DU admission to UG courses is entirely merit-based, while for PG it is both merit and entrance-based.

School of Open Learning offers financial assistance and fee concessions to help needy students. Students, who have studied in a government school and whose family income from all sources is below INR 2.5 LPA subject to submission of income Certificate are eligible to avail of the fee concession scheme.

If you wish to pursue LL.B. And LL. M. from Delhi University's School of Open Learning (DU SOL), you can follow the below steps:
1. Check the eligibility criteria: Make sure you meet the eligibility criteria set by the DU SOL for LL.B. And LL. M. programs. For LL.B. You must have a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for OBC, 40% for SC/ST). For LL. M. you must have an LL.B. Or equivalent degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for OBC, 40% for SC/ST).
2. Apply for admission: DU SOL generally releases the admission notification for LL.B. And LL. M. programs in May-June every year. You can visit the official website of DU SOL and apply for admission online by filling the application form, uploading the necessary documents and paying the application fee.
3. Prepare for the entrance exam: DU SOL conducts an entrance exam for LL.B. And LL. M. programs. You need to prepare for the entrance exam as per the syllabus and pattern prescribed by the university. The entrance exam usually comprises of multiple-choice questions and is conducted in offline mode.
4. Attend the counseling session: If you clear the entrance exam, you will be called for the counseling session. You need to attend the counseling session and choose your preferred college and course.

For MCom course, candidates must have pursued BCom with a minimum 50% aggregate. MCom from DU SOL admission is both merit and entrance-based depending upon the availability of seats. 50% seats of the total are filled by direct admission with the students of Delhi University only.The remaining 50% of the seats are filled through the entrance examination and Interview/ Group Discussion with students who are outside Delhi University.
