SKCT ME/MTech admission process can be divided into four stages. The process begins with the application stage. Any candidate with 50% and above marks in graduation is eligible to apply. The candidate also must have a valid GATE/CEETA score.Next, the candidate has to apply to TANCET/GATE/CEETA counselling portal. The counselling committee allocates seats on the basis of score and subsequent rank in accepted exams, choice of institution, and institute’s seat intake. Once, the seats are allocated, selected students must report to the allotted institute and pay the prescribed fees. Successful payment of fees completes the admission process.

Under this programme, students can choose from different specialisations including Applied Electronics, Structural design, Computer Science, Engineering Design, and Power Systems Engineering.The official website of the institute states that the institute provides proper training and maintains good relations with many renowned organisations to provide candidates with good placement opportunities. Moreover, as per the ME/MTECH placement statistics 2023-24, the the highest and average packages offered to M.Tech students stood at INR 11 LPA and INR 4 LPA respectively.If students are willing to go for off-campus placements then they can expect to start with a salary range of INR 6 to INR 7 LPA. However, every student may not start with the same pay scale.
