You can get into SSN in three (main) ways-the regular Anna University counseling, management quota and sports quota. There are also other scholarships that SSN offers like rural scholarships, walk in walk out scholarships etc. which don't fall under the aforementioned categories.Anna University counseling : this is predominantly for students who have studied in Tamil Nadu state board as the cut off is very high for CBSE or ISC board students. The cut off is around 195–197/200 (maybe higher). This is predominantly for CBSE or ISC students. The students are given a +5 to their mark on 200 (calculated in the same process as mentioned previously). The third and fourth rounds can sometimes go as low as 185/200 but the chances of one getting their preferred group on such rounds are slim.
