Boys Hostel in the college is decent. The girl's hostel is newly built which is amazing. Placements for mechanical NIE is one among the best in Karnataka. I'd personally guarantee that this year NIE had a record. 3 branches ie. EC, CS and ISC

You could choose NIE mechanical. But the cutoff gets over by 4000. It's a really good college. Placements are good. The average salary package in mechanical engineering would be around Rs.4 lakhs p.a.
