I am afraid, VIT does not give admission directly to students based on marks of 12th. One needs to appear for and pass MHT CET conducted by Govt of Maharashtra for the majority of seats or JEE Mains for few seats reserve

One needs to appear for and pass MHT CET conducted by Govt of Maharashtra for the majority of seats or JEE Mains for few seats reserved for All India Quota. One of the criteria for admission is that you should have at least 50% in board and the other one how much do you score in JEE-Mains or in MHT CET. So, you have to have a decent score in one of the two.
