No, there is no negative marking in CUCET. Therefore, candidates are advised to attempt as many questions as they can for higher chances of scoring well in examination.

Candidates will have to study topics from Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and English for CUCET 2026. Level of syllabus will be similar to 12th class syllabus.

CUCET Chandigarh University 2026 exam will consist of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English. Out of all subjects, students have reported that Mathematics is often considered as the most difficult section.

Chandigarh University has not announced any changes in the CUCET eligibility criteria yet. If any changes are made, it will be announced at official website.

For Phase 1 exam, CUCET 2026 registration last date is March 31. No applications will be accepted after final date. CUCET 2026 application form dates for Phase 2 exam will be announced soon.

There is only one paper in CUCET. However, for students with 12th standard qualifications in Science stream, they will have to attempt four sections in the paper - Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.

According to official pattern, the total score in CUCET is 100 marks. There is no negative marking for wrong answers in CUCET.
