Yes, as long you fulfill the particular requirements for the chosen course, Madhya Pradesh board students are permitted to take the PESSAT exam. This usually entails passing the 10+2 or an equivalent test from an accredited board with the necessary subjects and a minimum total score. PES University stopped using PESSAT for B.Tech programs in 2025, and admissions are now determined by JEE Main and KCET results.

Yes, you can apply for a BTech course at PES University without PESSAT score. It is possible because the university accept other entrance exam scores as well. The aspirants can apply with a valid score of JEE Main and KCET as well. Apart from this, it is important that the course aspirants fulfil the prescribed eligibility requirements.

After writing the PESSAT exam, the admission timeline depends on your program. For B.Tech, results are announced within 3-5 days, followed by counseling within a week, where admission is confirmed based on rank and seat availability. For other programs, results are declared within 3 days, and shortlisted candidates proceed with interviews or direct admissions. The process is efficient, and updates are provided promptly. Stay informed through the official PES University website for specific dates and procedures.

Yes, you can apply for the PESSAT entrance exam even if you have completed your 12th from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling). The PESSAT eligibility criteria do not specify any restriction regarding the board from which a candidate has passed their 12th exam. As long as you meet the general requirement of passing your 12th (or equivalent) with at least 45% aggregate marks for the general category (40% for SC/ST candidates), you are eligible to apply.
