Sports get a reasonable amount of attention on campus, though it isn't a sports-first university by any means. There's a dedicated sports week held for the whole student body, along with regular events through the year rather than a one-time affair. On the facilities side, students have access to football, basketball and volleyball, along with general fitness spaces. It's a fair setup for a mid-sized campus, enough to stay active and competitive, but if elite-level sports infrastructure is your priority, it's worth visiting and checking the facilities in person before deciding.

Because the university runs a genuinely wide mix of programs like Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Law, Physiotherapy, Hospitality, and more you end up rubbing shoulders with people from very different academic worlds, not just your own department bubble. Reviews consistently point to inter-department events, joint fests, and shared common spaces (like the library and cafeteria) as places where this mixing naturally happens.

Multiple students describe the vibe as friendly and open, with teac...
Yes,, security seems to be one of the better parts of hostel life here. There are wardens keeping an eye on things, plus security guards posted at the hostel blocks. The whole campus also has CCTV cameras running round the clock, so that adds an extra sense of safety. Fixed hostel timings and basic rules are in place too, so it's a fairly structured and safe setup overall.

From what I know the mess mainly sticks to vegetarian food. There is no non-veg options in the regular mess menu. The food itself gets a mixed response, some students are happy with the variety, while a few mention it could be better in terms of taste. If non-veg is a dealbreaker for you, it's available in the cafe and canteen inside the campus.

You've actually got a decent number of choices here. There's triple sharing, double sharing, and even a dormitory-style six-seater option if you're looking to save money. On top of that, each of these comes in AC and non-AC versions, so you can pick based on your budget. Basically, whether you want more privacy or a cheaper shared setup, there's something for most budgets.
