<p>Yes, GATE has negative marking for MCQs only. There is no negative marking for MSQs and NATs. For 1 mark question, 1/3rd marks is deducted for incorrect response and for 2 marks, 2/3rd mark is deducted for incorrect response. Candidates who are appearing for the exam this year, must be aware of the exam pattern and marking scheme. </p>
<p>Through the WBJEE correction facility, the students will not be able to correct all information that have been submitted in the application form. <p>WBJEEB conducts the WBJEE counselling process online. All qualified candidates have to register for the counselling and fill out their choice of colleges and courses. The counselling fee also has to be paid online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. No offline counselling will be held.</p>
<p>Yes, the WBJEEB authorities will announce the WBJEE 2026 toppers. The highest scoring students will be given the top ranks in WBJEE 2026.
