<p>UCEED 2026 question paper will have two parts, Part A and Part B. Part B answer booklet will be checked only if a candidate qualifies Part A or meets cut-off. The qualifying cut-off for Part A will be determined by admission committee. It will be used to shortlist candidates for Part A. All candidates who qualify Part A will be allocated a merit rank and total score.&nbsp;</p>

To have a good chance of admission into the institute, you must target a UCEED merit rank within the top 40. However, note that if you belong to reserved categories, in that case the cut-off would be lower. Further, you will be considered for admission under both the reserved category and the open category.</p>

<p>No, you cannot change the institute once the UCEED 2026 counselling process is over. A candidate is not allowed to shift from one institute to another. The candidate will have to select their preferred institute at the time of counselling registration.</p>
