<p>The GATE paper code of Engineering Sciences is XE. This year, IIT Guwahati has introduced a new sectional paper under XE, naming Energy Science (XE-I). The optional section (where the applicant has to choose any two) carries 70 marks. <p>Yes, GATE has negative marking for MCQs only. There is no negative marking for MSQs and NATs. For 1 mark question, 1/3rd marks is deducted for incorrect response and for 2 marks, 2/3rd mark is deducted for incorrect response. Candidates who are appearing for the exam this year, must be aware of the exam pattern and marking scheme.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Through the WBJEE correction facility, the students will not be able to correct all information that have been submitted in the application form. Some of the information that will be open for editing/correct are the reservation category, income details, religion, nationality, Aadhaar number, photograph, etc.</p>

<p>WBJEE 2026 application form correction facility dates will be announced online. After the registration process is over, the students will be able to edit their submitted information through the online correction facility. After the final date, the students will not be able to make any more corrections.</p>

<p>WBJEEB conducts the WBJEE counselling process online. All qualified candidates have to register for the counselling and fill out their choice of colleges and courses. The counselling fee also has to be paid online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. No offline counselling will be held.</p>

<p>If the students have any grievance about their WBJEE score, then they can raise a query through email to information [at]wbjeeb.nic.in. The grievances have to be submitted within 24 hours of the result declaration. Along with the grievance, the students will also have to attach copies of their OMR, rank card, question booklet number and its series code along with the question wise calculation of the score.</p>
