The UPSC CSE interview stage is the final stage of the IAS exam, and only a few hundred get recommended every year. There are many reasons why so many aspirants fail at this stage:
1. The selection ratio is very low due to the low number of vacancies. Only one out of every three candidates interviewed makes the final cut.
2. Lower marks in the main stage have an impact on interview marks as well. Many aspirants fail simply because their score in the Mains is very low. This stage is worth a total of 1750 marks, whereas the interview is only worth 250.

Hi,
Government organization gives study leave after you have completed minimum years of service (3-5 years) that when you have completed your probation period. There is nothing like UPSC leave, the government gives study leave for academics/professional enhancement, but many people prepare for this exam apart from completing some professional degree. So, it is up to you how you use this sanctioned kind of sabbatical.

Dear Ishta,
An IFS officer deals with the external affairs of the country, which includes diplomacy, trade and cultural relations. He/she will be responsible for framing and implementation of policies which govern India’s relations with other countries.
The best part about this job is, you represent your country and work to achieve national objectives. You have to travel the globe and rub shoulders with celebrities and big names in the course of your work and during leisure time enjoy diplomatic immunity.
All you have to do is complete your graduation and apply for UPSC exam, as it is not open for students who have completed class 12th.

Also, read about the stream for which you are about to give the exam online and download some sample papers available on the internet to help you understand the kind of questions that are being asked in that specific exam.
