If your rank is 177 only then you can get any IIT and you can get a seat in round 1 only. Since your rank is excellent that's why you don't have to face any problem. For further information you can check which college you can get on the basis of your rank in the below link:

The minimum score one should have is around 250 or above for getting into CCOA, Punjab (for general). Still, there is very less number of seats (around 50 ), so nothing can be said at concrete. There are though lot of another colleges with similar reputation and you need not to worry, if you get around 250 marks.

Since, you have less marks in Mains, I would suggest you to get into private universities with their own private entrance such as Manipal University (comes in top 20). Other such recommendations are LPU, AMITY, SRM, VIT, etc.

Hi Ganesh,
You need to score minimum 25 percent in both the sections of NATA paper. As you have not answered the drawing section, that is why your rank has been decreased. If you are pass in the NATA then you can get admission in good architecture colleges like LPU, Amity University, SRM, MS Ramaiya Bangalore, D Y patil college, etc.

Definitely not possible in CAP round 1.
