According to a government order in Tamil Nadu, state services and PSUs will now require a Tamil language paper at the 10th grade level. MAT exam is specified by AIMA (All India Management Association). The duration of MAT exam is 150 minutes. As per MAT exam pattern, a total of 200 questions will be asked from 5 sections namely Indian and Global Environment, Data analysis and sufficiency, language comprehension, mathematical skills and intelligence and critical reasoning. Since, it is not mandatory to solve all the questions, candidates can maximize their scores by leaving out the questions related to the passage they find the toughest.
