Absolutely. The basic eligibility criteria to pursue M.Sc from any university is the candidate should have completed B.Sc from any recognised university. Therefore, you can apply for M.Sc in a college/university of your choice. However, please note that different universities have a different cut-off percentage for admission into M.Sc. According to me, people holding rank 43 also not getting admission in North campus, because there are fewer seats. It will depend upon your rank but it has to be in top 40 atleast to get north campus.

M.Sc Physics is a postgraduate course based on the study of all branches of Physics. A candidate has to be a B.Sc in Physics graduate from a recognised university in order to become eligible for this course. M.Sc Physics is a two-year programme. Two points in this context.
Firstly, you need to check its authenticity, because as per the AICTE norms, a correspondence degree in engineering or medical is invalid. And an invalid degree will be in nowhere use.
Secondly, the universities of US, Europe, AUZ doesn't allow distance education for their post-graduate programme and especially for engineering, science, management, and medical. So distance education is not recommended.
