You should refer to this link where all the important and appropriate dates related to NEST exam 2019 are given. You can decide accordingly. Any Bachelors programme is eligibility for civil service exam. The minimum age is 21 years. IAS is a tough programme. So, if you are interested in civil services you should prepare for the UPSC exams.

Although M.Sc would be the viable choice after completing graduation in Forensic science, you should pursue a career which you want to pursue. There are pros and cons of each career and you should carefully weigh your options, and decide on a career which you feel comfortable with. If you feel SSC is the right option, you should option for SSC. Good Luck!!
