It is not mandatory to pass all papers in first attempt to get degree of LLB. But, you must put efforts to clear all papers in first attempt. It will be helpful in campus placement if you have cleared your papers in first attempt with good marks.

Reasons to join VIT:
1. Quality of students.
VIT attracts students from all over the country, the majority of who are from the North. Compare this to other universities like SRM and Amrita and you'll find yourself stuck amidst a vast Tamil/Telugu speaking majority. The student community and campus life here is brilliant.

One of the advantages of having such a vast and diverse student body is the opportunity to join one of the many student groups (or chapters as we call them) of your interest. There are over 160 active chapters ranging from creative arts, public speakin... View more

Hi Medhavi, your rank is very low to get admission at VIT university. Since the ranks between 1-100000 are called for admission(counseling) you may be called later only.
Even if you are called for counseling, it is not sure that you will get admission. For sure , you cannot get VIT Vellore but you can get in category 3,4,or 5 only.
You will have to pay a lot of fees around Rs 350000 per annum(management quota).
So you try your luck in counseling.
All the best!

Hi Gaurav, the ranks between 1-10000 are called for counseling. So if your rank is below 30000 , you may get a seat easily without paying lot of money.
Since your rank is 42072 , you will be called for counseling but it is not sure that you will get admission. If you get , you will be placed only in category 3,4 or 5 only.
So attend the counseling and you will know exactly which category you can get but there are less chances only to get category 1 or 2.
All the best!
