The basic things which needs attention during the admission, would be General knowledge and English. Although, St. Joseph might also test your maths, but mostly, it's the former two which will be given the most importance.

1. Watch a hell lotta movies. The better your understanding about film, the better your chances at cracking the essay.
2. Start watching movies which are critic acclaimed. Neorealism, contemporary, etc. There are a lot of movies that are kind of a must watch so that you have a basic understanding of why films are made.

Preparation for the test is not necessary if you do certain things regularly like reading newspaper or going through news in paper, TV, internet, etc. Watching films like Indian, Foreign, etc. and having a writing habit writing in the sense kind of creative writing. If you are not habituated with this things then start. Basically, half of the question paper has GK & current affairs, objective questions on films & entertainment.The other half has creative writing, topics or situations are given one has to write on those.

Campus Law Center, DU provides 3 year LL.B. Programme where as NLUs have 5 year integrated B.A. L. B programme. CLC offers traditional law where as NLUs structure is very modern. Class does offer some placements but not as much as the NLUs.

I don't know about the reservations, but for admission in a good NIT, you don't have to wait for the JEE Advanced score, you can get admission to the college by getting at least 250 marks in the JEE Mains exam.

Hi aspirant.
While preparing for CAT, you are practicing Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation and Logical rezoning, Verbal ability and reading comprehension if I am not wrong. Similarly, SNAP is also a same pattern. Additional subject is General awareness. So, you additionally concentrate on General awareness subject.
Actually, CAT is for 300 marks and SNAP is for 180 marks. So, you can find easy in SNAP if you are well prepared for CAT.

First, you should get your hands on previous year’s papers of the college entrance exams. Try and answer them. It will give you an idea as to what line of questioning the exam takes.
In general, Mass Communication and Journalism entrance exams test English Grammar, Writing Skills, and Knowledge of Current Affairs and Critical Writing ability. Arts side is better if you wish to prepare for IAS. As this side will give you some subjects that would compliment you in the IAS paper too. But you could take up Science as well, totally up to your interests. I have heard and observed that Science people clear IAS easily as they get used to of studying a lot with the Science curriculum.
