I think you should join any coaching institute that has good material for reference, opt for test series and analyses your mocks on regular basis. It is better, if you make a planned chart for your preparation. All the exams have different difficulty level as CAT and XAT are on a higher side, whereas MAT and CMAT can be easily attempted after giving some extra efforts on general awareness.

Fortis Fortuna Adiuvat,

Some reference books are not enough, if you're studying for MAT or GMAT especially on your own that is. Firstly, if you're studying on your own, make sure that you spend at least 6 hours a day with at least 4-6 months of determined attention towards your studies. Secondly, there are a lot of YouTube tutorials on the Internet that'll help you do the right kind of preparation and keeping the schedule. Finally, coaching for these exams separately or altogether will cost you a lot, so keep that in mind and fuel that as your passion. If you can study this way, you can make a difference. So don't just go by some reference book by the market. The... View more

Hi Shweta Sethi,
You are not late for SAT you can take it anytime during your 11th and 12th or even immediately after. There is no age limit or restriction, however the more you delay the more you will get late for the university application abroad. Preparation has to be as per your own routine and convenience. Both JEE and SAT are entirely different. SAT is mainly reasoning and aptitude with basic maths, JEE on the other hand is quantitative entirely. So you have to prioritize your requirement first, otherwise if you prepare for both simultaneously you may not do well in any of them. You have to decide if you want to go abroad now or... View more

Hi Viraj, keep the third attempt as the last one, I don't recommend students to take the tests more than 3 times. You should start checking university websites for deadlines and admission requirements, if you are targetting an US university start preparing from now. Get your academic transcripts issued from the university in India. Prepare a very strong SOP, talk to professors who could write outstanding LORs for you. Universities would check your overall profile, so without worrying too much about your GRE work on other factors which could make an impact on your application.

You can apply for the same only when you will be in the final year or after clearing LLB.
If you are so much desperate to appear the exam you should start your full-fledged preparation now so that you could qualify the exam as early as possible.
PCS exams need very determined preparation and it ideally takes 2 years preparation at least.
So, start your preparation now. You should go ahead by starting from general studies and when after sometime start the optional subjects and remaining papers.

You can prepare for PO exams simultaneously with B.Com. You can join an institute for PO exam preparation but you can attempt exam only in last year or last semester. You can also take weekend classes for PO entrance so that you can manage your B.Com classes also. You have to manage the time between both the courses and also regular practice is needed for PO.

Dear Ambika,
Self-study is the best teacher. You can prepare by yourself. You just need to get the syllabus of the respective Universities. Also you can prepare for JAM entrance exam of IIT.
I think you should focus one of them, you like the most and enjoy the most. I hope you will get the admission in your subject and you will do much better in that subject. If you like all three then you can go for all. But I think it is very difficult to focus on all at a time.
