Frankly speaking, No. If one will prepare for CLAT seriously then he will not have to prepare for other exams separately as almost all the portions are covered in CLAT and if one has a command on all the portions, one can crack any of the law exams easily. Almost all the exams for law cover the legal portion, G.K. portion, reasoning portion and english portion. So if one is preparing for CLAT and commanding on all the portions one will surely qualify CLAT one is just needed to go through the patterns of the different law entrance examinations. As in CLAT say for G.K. portion one has pay more attention for current affairs section than stat... View more

There are two things –
One, you want to clear GATE and second you want to score a good rank. For No.1, just Study for a month from any Xyz BT book.
For No. 2, you have to follow a long and laborious path, I think 6-8 months are necessary for GATE prep. Just make proper time schedules, undertake regular test and study regularly
Now coming to the books
The wonder and magic book - Biotechnology a problem approach by pathfinder academy (don't make a mistake to overlook this book.)
The above book is though sufficient in many ways but to score a rank of 30 or less from a rank of 200, you need to carry extra. Alongside p... View more

If you talk about numerical ability and scientific aptitude then you have to work very hard in next 15 days because this is the section where some non-maths aspirant face little struggle. Start doing previous year question paper to get yourself ready before the exam. Use advanced level vocabulary books and basic grammar books during preparation. NCHM JEE is not very difficult to crack. Aspirants need to be calm and must not divert from their focus by worrying a lot about how to score good marks.

Engineer | Author,

Hi Atharva, Both SAT and JEE are completely different so it will be best for you first focus on one test at a time, JEE is mainly high level quantitative and for engineering institutes in India. SAT, on the other hand, is for abroad studies and tests English and aptitude and basic high school maths. If you want to prepare for the tests together then schedule your routine differently. It's all about practice. Know your areas of weaknesses and practice. Basically, know what you want to study and if you want to study abroad. Once again, take one test at a time or you will end up spoiling both. For the books check these links:

Depends on your rank. If your rank comes around 1000-1500 in general PWD, you may stand a chance. Chances are less for old NITs but you may get a seat in the new ones.

Hello,
There is no harm in preparing for the CAT exam with that score. With a great percentile, who knows, you might end up with an interview call from a top B-school. You should target FMS New Delhi as it doesn't give any importance to your past academic scores; though its cutoff is high (approx. 99 percentile) and not just CAT, you should prepare for other exams too as backup like XAT, SNAP, NMAT, etc.

Fee depends on whether you want to study UG or PG and which specific county outside India. You can check these links for some details. Scholarships outside India are given on merit and full scholarship is very rare for international students unless you are extraordinarily brilliant. For Indian schools too, you have to a very bright student but check details on institute websites:
