Hi Nisha,

In short time, you can't be prepared for international colleges. It requires a lots of time with constant and continuous hard work, if you drop the B.Tech then for international colleges you must drop 1 year so that you can be prepared. In my opinion just do it on your own if you are not like your college environment. Just concentrate on your study do self study. But then also not works then just change the college and take the admission in lateral entry only of you complete your 1 year of B.Tech.

Yes, the syllabus has been changed. After class 12th, first, you need to get yourself registered for CPT (Common Proficiency Test) at any of ICAI institute near you. They will give you the study material. Then after clearing that register for IPCC; it has 2 groups to be cleared. After that, one needs to undergo 6months of articleship training under a CA.

Here come the last step i.e. finals. Again it has 2 groups to be cleared. Meanwhile they have some IT trainings also about which you will be informed timely.

You can appear for GRE and TOEFL/IELTS exam. You need to score high in both the exams. This is the primary criteria, if university have its own unique criteria, then you can check their website.

First, you join good institute near you like TIME, IMS, Career Launcher, etc. So that you get a better idea of how to solve Questions Papers, Basics, Tricks, etc.
But just joining an institute is not okay.
You have to work hard, keep practising maths problems, logical reasoning, English grammar and all.
As you said, you are in the 2nd year so first, you have to focus on your graduation that is also important, start preparing for CAT in last year or I would advise you to after B.gain 1-2 years of work experience after B.Tech and then go for MBA as it would be better for your admission and placements.
Best of luck.
