<p>One should dedicate about 4 to 5 hour in a day for CMAT preparation. If you have started CMAT preparation six months before 4 to 5 hours daily will be good. But if you start preparation 3 months before CMAT exam, you will need to dedicate about 7 hours to exam preparation as you will have to cover a lot in less time.&nbsp;</p>

Apart from applying for the medical line through NEET or AIIMS, you can pursue B.Sc in biology, physics or chemistry, zoology, microbiology, forensic science and others. There are various other options like biotechnology, genetic engineering, and others. You can choose any of them.

You did not mention which year you are into. But anyway, the earlier one starts preparing for CAT, the better.
CAT is a tough nut to crack.
Also, I would ask you to not believe over others while choosing a coaching center for yourself.
Rather, I would ask you to shortlist famous ones from your city and then go for some demo classes and then decide.
You will be able to judge better.

There is no doubt that IGNOU is much better than SOL. There are many reasons to choose IGNOU:
Best quality study material
It has assignment submission system which carry 30% weightage
It conducts term end exams twice in a year
Degree is accepted everywhere.

Firstly and importantly, please remember that no exam is difficult. It's our preparation that matters. Secondly, for GATE syllabus is that of graduation. How will you start preparing for it in 2nd year? My advice firstly concentrates on studying for graduation. After this only prepare for GATE.

Of course, you can and you should. If you are serious about it, It's great news because If you want to crack Civil Services you need a minimum of 3 years of preparation at least. If you are going through it during your graduation it will save you plenty of time and energy after graduation. It depends on your interest. If you want to pursue a career in the technical field than GATE is a good choice, a good score in GATE will open your options to get in PSUs. If you want to get a work experience then job is better, even after working for 1-2 years you can appear for GATE and complete M.Tech to enhance your skills.
