Hello Rakesh,
It's very nice to see that you are preparing for a future. For exams in 2018, there is plenty of time for a logical, sustained, pragmatic and fruitful study. To get into IIT-B, you have to clear the JEE Mains and then Advanced exam. It's not that tough. Only systematic study is required. Assign time for every subject. In addition, assign time for exercise as well as for some entertainment. You surely need to have a healthy body. Having said this, important thing is to get all the concepts cleared and get accustomed to solving papers.
Best wishes.

This enables you to examine your strengths and weaknesses, become acquainted with the test format, and devise efficient time-management methods. Taking practice exams on a regular basis helps imitate actual testing situations, improves problem-solving abilities, and develops endurance for the lengthy exam. It also gives you insight into the sorts of questions offered on the XAT, allowing you to customize your preparation accordingly. Remember to evaluate your performa... View more

Yes sure! Practice makes a person perfect. If you concentrate from now on, then you can easily crack the exam by little bit guidance and self studies. Also it is better to start the preparation of IIT main because if one start the it from 12 then he/she will not be able to crack it since it is time taking process and needs a lot of hard work, and the boards pressure is also there hence my advice to you start the preparation from now on, only and choose a better coaching for this exam. Best of luck my friend!
Hi Shrijal,
B.Voc is a very new concept in India and still the Universities are in testing mode as multiple entry and exit points was not prevailing earlier. There are UGC mandates to look into it for every university but still, the acceptance is not fully there in the market. I would suggest to go for BHM or B.Sc in Hospitality/ Hotel management.

Firsrly, its important to have a clear structure for your study hours. If you think that you'll only be able to concentrate on a single section for an hour or two, then adjust your study plan accordingly by factoring in a break, or a change in your area of focus. Using practice tests is a tried and tested way of tracking your progress, and a handy way of highlighting any weaknesses in your strategy that you might not be aware of.

Till 2014, there were only two sections in CAT. Quantitative Aptitude was clubbed with Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning was clubbed with Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension. In 2015, the Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning were clubbed together and Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension made two individual sections. Since 2015, the sectional segregation has remained the same but the number of questions have come down from 100 to 66. The exam duration has also been reduced. Until 2019, the CAT exam was of 180 minutes and the total number of questions were 100. However, in 2020, the qu... View more
Yes, it is useful to give competitive exams like UPSC, MPSC, or any other competitive exam.
You can opt for any course for your UG programme, as the field of education does not really matter, when you apply for a UPSC exam. What matters is that, you should be a graduate and how you perform in the exam. To prepare for the exam, refer to class 9th to class 12th NCERT books of Geography, History and Civics. Read at least 2 newspapers daily, and join the mock test series in order to clear the exam.
Yes, you can surely opt for teaching Maths as a career. However, with a B.Tech/M.Tech degree, you can't teach Maths to post-secondary (after class 12th) students. In order to do so, you have to pursue M.Sc. In mathematics or you can even go for Ph.D. and end up being a professor teaching engineering undergrads. There's one more option, you can go for tutoring in private coaching classes as they don't really care about your degree if you are well versed in your discipline.

Yes, Syllabus for both, CAT and CMAT are similar for three sections i.e. Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, RC, Verbal and Logical Reasoning.
