Hello!
The score of CAT 2016 was valid only for the last year's academic session I.e. 2017-19 only, and not for the 2018-20 session (unlike GMAT). The validity of CAT (and all other MBA entrance exams conducted in India) scores is just for the next i.e. one year. https://iimcat.ac.in/per/g01/pub/756/ASM/WebPortal/1/index.html?756@1@1#! Please visit the given link in case you have any more relevant queries.

Depends on what job do you want and in what department. Generally I would suggest Engineering students to pursue Management in Operations or Logistics & Supply Chain management. But the choice should reflect your interest too. There are various MBA specialisations available and even if you are not able to find any specific course then you can also look for PGDM with various specialisations.
