Two of my friends are pursuing Bachelors in forensic and from what I can tell, they will never ever recommend forensic from Amity. Forensic requires more of practical knowledge than mugging up theory of subjects like autopsy and Amity doesn’t offer that. They have continuous classes till the evening for five days so it’s even hectic. I am not related to forensic in any way but this is what I’ve heard them saying.

According to my real time experience, I don't think it is at all beneficial for the industry to hire M.Sc. In Maths graduates. Once you join IT industry as a fresher you will be trained for the relevant domain you wish to enter. So you will anyway get trained first which is known as KT (Knowledge Transfer) from the relevant future team members. Unless you are specifically looking forward to one such profile where the specific skills are required.

The minimum eligibility criteria for PG courses is at least 50% marks in graduation or equivalent from a recognized university. However, for some courses the minimum cut-off may be higher.
Relaxation of 5% is granted to candidates from SC/ST category.
M.Sc (medical biotechnology) follows a different process wherein admission is done through JNU CEEB.
For the rest of the courses, the university conducts the entrance test. There's a common entrance test for all the M.Sc courses conducted by the science department except M.Sc forensic science.
