The English test of Amity comprises of an essay test wherein you would be asked to write two essays based on any two contemporary topics. At my time I was asked to write essay on Women empowerment and The second topic was how can education help the society.
Both were current topics as lot of debate was going on in media about them.

As a B.Sc. Passout I would rather suggest go for organic portions in you free time say before 3 to 4 months before exams or from starting take advantage of the time and learn and give time specially to organic Chemistry and afterwards go for inorganic and another extra subject in your course (like FC or Chemistry of drugs and dyes, industrial Chemistry etc. ). For logical reasoning also you should just do the standard topics which come in any logical reasoning test. You can get these topics and questions from Arihant books or the internet. Practise all types of problem but ensure that you do only what is required and not much. Basically do not spend much time on English and Logical Reasoning as these carry less weightage and depend more on the exam time performance and luck rather than prior preparation.

AIEEE-All India Engineering Entrance Examination. This exam was conducted before the system of JEE Mains had come. The AIEEE, was the entrance exam for admission into many engineering colleges in India as it was mainly for sub-urban and rural area's students to get a good college.
