No, there is no negative marking for unattempted questions in SU JEE. The exam authority does not deduct marks for any questions that a candidate does not attempt. This means that candidates can choose to attempt only the questions they are confident about, without fear of losing marks for leaving others unanswered. This approach can help candidates to avoid guesswork and focus on answering the questions they know best, which can ultimately improve their chances of securing a high rank in the exam. So, if a candidate does not attempt a particular question, it will not affect their overall score in any way.

Firstly, start with the vocabulary questions as they're quite straight-forward and can be solved quickly then move towards the RC's. See to it that you don't spend a lot of time on a single question, if you don't know the answer, either mark it randomly or make an educated guess. If you think you can solve that question but may take some time, mark it for review and move on. To prepare for this section, ensure that you have good grammar and vocabulary skills, as well as a good reading speed.
I hope it will help you.
