Keep in mind that both the courses have nearby same quality and belong to the same sector because bioinformatics is the combination of both information technology and biotechnology and biotechnology is the combination of both biology and chemistry. So, definitely bioinformatics has more value than biotechnology.

Candidate has to appear for entrance test for BBA / BBA-CA/ BBA-IB admissions.
B.Com admissions are based on 12th marks. There is no entrance test for B.Com. admission, B.Com admissions are best on merit of 12th marks.

If you have a keen interest in software then instead of doing M.Sc in software you should pursue B.Tech in CSE or IT and can pursue M.Tech in tha same field. B.tech will give you more growth as compared to M.Sc and more options will be open for you.
