The duration of both MBA and MCA is two years and admission to these programmes is based on Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET) scores, followed by APICET counselling.

Lateral entry is basically entering a college while having completed the previous year or semester in another college. It is possible in some universities and colleges to get lateral entry but not many of them provide such facility. Also it depends on the course one is studying, usually lateral entry is seen in B.Tech courses.
