You can try to get over CSIR NET or any state NET and become a university or college professor; or you can go for research using the same exam.
You can also go for a career in biotechnology, bioinformatics, biomedical sciences or even nano-technology. You can try Indian Forest Service also, if you are within the age limit.

The most popular and common jobs available are the scientists positions in DRDO, BARC and ISRO, and many other labs like IPR. For DRDO and BARC you have to apply for GATE or BARC written exam. Sometimes DRDO makes direct recruitments for its particular labs but they are not very regular with that. Another option available for you is to qualify NET JRF and then apply for assistant professor in some state colleges or colleges affiliated to universities.

Yes, you have to apply for a license for the medical shop. The minimum requirement to open a medical shop in India is Diploma in Pharmacy after completing the 12th standard in Science. After completion of your Diploma in pharmacy, you're eligible to apply for a license for the medical shop.
