Hello Kanishka,
From this year onwards, NTA the agency conducting the exam of JEE Mains, will be declaring results in percentile form and the AIR will be given only after second set of exam results are announced in April or May. Till then nobody can predict how things will move. Roughly about 3lakh students will be allowed to sit for JEE Advanced the exam which will determine the admission to IIT. Hence, patience till then. Best wishes to you.

My friend got 187 marks in JEE Mains 2017, which I think are approximately equal to your score in JEE Mains 2018. He was not able to make it to IIIT-Bangalore. Last year’s cutoff was 190 marks and cutoff marks of IIIT-Bangalore is increasing every year. Therefore, there are less chances for you to get into it. But, do not worry, there are endless chances and opportunities waiting for you ahead. Best of Luck.

Yes its compulsary to appear in paper 2 of mains.
And more details i am pasting from my another answer:-
First you have to appear in both paper 1 and paper 2 of jee main. And have to clear paper 1 and a min. score in paper 2 which is not hard to get. Then you will also have to qualify jee advance after that finally you have to appear for AAT (architecture aptitude test) you need to clear that too. You will get admission in IIT roorkee and khadagpur exclusively on the basis of AAT none other score will be counted.Good Luck.

It is upto cut-off of this year. So, you have to wait for the result announcement and cut-off declaration. Only then, you come to know you are eligible or not. But as you said, you have been attempted 260 marks question according to me you should be eligible if you have been attended atleast 150 marks right question.
Best of luck.
