I am definitely sure that you will get admission in NIT. First of all, your score is 200+ and you have SC quota.
So, don't worry.
Go for the counselling.
Sorry but your rank is too high in JEE paper 2 because above 300 marks are considered for admission in B.Arch in NITs or government colleges. So, there is no NIT available for you, so you should try for private colleges.
Well, the rule states that Candidates can use only black ball pen for marking their answer options on the OMR sheet. Nothing else must be used. There is a high probability that your paper may not be checked. Request you to contact concerned authorities and confirm whether your paper will be checked or not. Regards.
In this percentile, there are chances to get the college but you have to wait for last round.
Please try.

It all depends on your caliber. Being an IITian, everyone is going to believe that you have done something good in academics so you will have a good chance to get a good firm after doing M.Tech from IIT-Roorkee.

Mostly you should be allowed in until it isn't mentioned in the instructions sheet. But what I would recommend for safety is that carry an extra document in case they don't accept it like your passport with a recent photo or your college id along with the Aadhar card. But don't forget the Aadhar card, it is extremely important.

While roles in archaeology may prefer candidates with expertise in ancient history or archaeology, your specialisation in Modern India can still be valuable, especially for research, historical analysis, or archival work.

Be sure to carefully check the eligibi... Yes you can get. You have chances of getting NIT Patna and NIT Hamirpur.
Many students at IIT have taken a drop. It's nothing uncommon, and is very normal.
I, myself, have taken a drop of one year to prepare for JEE and I too had faced this same dilemma few years back.
Also, be motivated throughout the year and try not to lose focus. The pressure on you to perform is greater when you take a drop, don't succumb to it, rather use it to your advantage.
I would advise you to make your decision free from any bias from people around you, be it your relatives or even parents, if you really have the drive to go for a drop then don't let anyone stop you.
Meanwhile if you aren't sure of yourself then not ... View more
Hi Divgendra,
As per your JEE main marks you may not get any good colleges, start looking forward to your other exams.
For getting admission in B.Arch in IIT, You needs to qualify JEE Advanced and AAT (Architecture Aptitude Test). So JEE Main Paper-1 is not applicable for IIT. However for getting admission in NITs, one needs to qualify in JEE Main Paper-2.
It's available on DTE website. Just go through the available study material on the website.
Your percentile is good. At this percentile you can get only new NITs but for NIT, Trichy your percentile should be more than 97 percentile.
