No, you cannot because UGC makes it mandatory for taking M.A. Subject as the main paper in UGC NET. You may pursue research in sustainability Science.

According to the National Testing Agency NTA guidelines, aspirants can apply for the exam with their post-graduation subject or related to that. As MA English, MA Linguistic and English language background candidates can take common UGC NET English exam. But, before applying for the exam must check out the UGC NET eligibility criteria whether you are eligible or not? To appear for the exam, you should have minimum 55% aggregate marks in Masters, if you are from General Category or if they belong to OBC/SC/ST/PwD categories you should have scored minimum 50% aggregate marks.

As you know the board pattern has changed this year so first of all for understanding the patterns you have to solve as many questions as you can.
Another way is to do some smart work revise the chapters regularly so that the whole chapter will be prepared before the exams.
Health is wealth for good marks you have to take care of your health as well.

Sorry but your rank is too high in JEE paper 2 because above 300 marks are considered for admission in B.Arch in NITs or government colleges. So, there is no NIT available for you, so you should try for private colleges.
