Since you are asking this question to us to give our preference, first of all I will say that you must check the job availability in both the courses, then think of taking the course. But, for me, I will say that it will be better to take Industrial Microbiology, because you know day by day technology is developing and, thus there will be high requirement of researchers based on industrial microbiology, though both the fields are based on research studies and they generally give emphasis on that only. So, there is a need of microbiologists in almost every nation. I don't think it will harm you, if you pursue M.Sc. programme in Industrial ... View more

Hi dear, let's talk straight forward to the point, if you look at the study pattern, then SRM is good for M.Sc. In Biotech. But I am afraid to state that you cannot expect good amount of job opportunities in any domain apart from CS/IT here in SRM. There may be only one or two core companies for biotechnology and this will force the students to ultimately go either jobless or work in some IT firm. Hope so you got your answer. Hello, Thank you for asking the question. This is an easy question to answer, mathematics is more abstract and less practical. Physics is necessary and utilized in every facet of modern technology, mathematicians are more concerned with manipulating numbers than implementing numbers and constructing systems (other than statisticians. )
I am convinced mathematics and physics are codependent upon one another in many regards. However, I think a person can be good at math and not physics, while a person can be good at physics and not math.
