At BITS, along with your M.Sc. Degree, you also get a BE degree. So to put it in layman terms, the scope of M.Sc. Degree will be a bit higher than the scope of single degree students.

There are lots of job opportunities in space research field, aeronautical companies, space research laboratories.
Especially in India, DRDO and ISRO have excellent job opportunities for M.Sc Astronomy and Space Physics post graduate students.

Most universities offer MS courses which are completed within 2 years. However, I have shared a link with you, and you can check on your own if there are any MS courses which are of 3 years duration. You may be able to get an extension for your MS course up to 3 years in select universities.

Eligibility criteria to get admission in Master of science in any college is atleast 50 % in your graduation. Secondly, you need have microbiology as a subject in final year.

In order to fulfill SVUCET 2018 eligibility criteria for Science course admissions, candidates must pass their qualifying exam with at least of 40% marks in the concerned subject. The eligibility criteria for M.Sc(Chemistry) from VIT is B.Sc degree in either chemistry or applied chemistry or applied science from any recognized university with physics or mathematics or biology as ancillary subject. There is no entrance exam for M.Sc programs and candidates will be called for a counseling in the order of merit of their aggregate marks secured in their undergraduate degree programmes calculated upto the fourth semester or second year, whichever is applicable (This is inclusive of Languages / EOP and all the subjects they have studied up-to pre-final year).

The minimum eligibility criterion for a student to take admission in B.Sc Zoology is that the candidate must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in class 12th and should have attained a minimum of 50% aggregate in 10+2 examinations. If you fulfill this eligibility, you can apply for M.Sc in zoology. Also, there is no eligibility percentage for Distance/Correspondence mode of education.
