You can get the right answer from some students who are pursuing this course. Generally, Bombay and Kanpur are the best ones since they give their students equal opportunities for placements. M.Sc in Chemistry students sit for placements with B.Tech Chemical. So, you do get a lot of options but competition is stiff. But these vary from IIT to IIT.
So, the student at this position can answer this question better.
I would advise you to do M.Sc from Delhi University as in IITs, there are no specialisation courses.

Yes, you can do MSC forensic science as the eligibility is
You must have completed BSC with 60% .
Then you have to fill the online application form and then you will get a date of entrance exam and personal interview.
And if you get shortlisted you can further move for the admission.

Sorry to say that but in order to do M.Sc. . in wildlife sciences or forestry, you will have to complete your graduation from some Science subject only. From economics, you can't do M.Sc. . from wildlife sciences.

The students must have studied relevant subjects in B.Sc. Yes, you can apply for UGC NET environmental sciences. But, make sure you have minimum 55% aggregate marks (for general category) or 50% aggregate marks (for SC/ST/PwD/OBC categories). As per the eligibility criteria for JRF, your age must not be more than 30 years and for assistant there is no restriction on age. For both JRF and assistant professor, there is no limits on number of attempts.
