Yes, your son can get admission in IHM-Kolkata based on admission statistics from 2017. Chances are he may get in the first round itself. IGNOU takes admission for MBA via OpenMAT exam. The notification for the next OpenMAT exam has been announced. I'm attaching a link here, follow that and fill in the OpenMAT exam form of IGNOU. <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://ignou.ac.in/ignou/aboutignou/school/soms/openmatform" style='word-wrap:break-word;'>http://ignou.ac.in/ignou/aboutignou/school/soms/openmatform</a>
After filling the form you will have to appear for the exam and after you get through the exam you can apply for admissions with the OpenMAT scorecard.

These days, on job training during the engineering course is debated in the country. This was as a result of different studies finding freshly passed out engineers not capable of taking on job immediately. AICTE is therefore mulling to include this in 4 year engineering course. But presently there is no training in the syllabus of engineering courses across India.

The entrance exam of this course has already taken place in the month of May. I am afraid you cannot apply for this course anymore as the admission process has already ended for 2018-2019 batch.

The JEE Main Cutoff for last year was as follows -
OBC - 49 Marks
This year the cutoff may slightly increase as follows -
OBC - 50 to 55 Marks
You may come under 50000 rank to 80000 with a score of about 130 Marks in JEE Mains and that is a good score. You may get admission in the best like NITs and other Private Engineering Colleges providing good campus placements and Education with any stream like CSE, Civil, EEE, ME, ECE etc. It also depends on the Home or other state quota. The admission process through BCECE has been closed from year 2019 and all the admission will be made through the JEE Main and NEET score. Hence, question is not relevant in present scenario.

Yes, there is one provided by Ministry of Human Resources Development and CBSE to the meritorious students known as Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship (CSSS), the main aim of which is to provide financial assistance to the meritorious students from low-income families to meet day to day expenses while pursuing higher studies. It is awarded on the basis of the result of your higher secondary (10+2) exam. It will be awarded for both graduation and post graduation level for professional studies.
*Amount awarded:
The scholarship will be given 1000 per month at graduation level and 2000 per month at post graduation level.

Just make sure whenever you want to pursue the course, be sure to have no less than 3 months of preparation time for IELTS. That is essential. And for IELTS, start the preparation ASAP and take the exam. Good thing is, the IELTS score is valid for 2 years, so it helps to keep it ready.
