There are many universities in Canada for MS in finance. I think you should start application procedure for January intake as you will not get admission for September intake because their deadline starts from January so it would be difficult to get admission for September intake. Try for January, take a guide for proper application purpose and then pursue with your further process.

Hi Pejush, MS and M.Sc's full forms are same, but these two degrees are totally different. MS is a professional course whereas M.Sc. Covers a wide base of knowledge and skills. Candidates who wish to pursue M.Sc. Degree should have a B.Sc. Degree in any of the Science subjects. But the candidates who have pursued their Bachelors degree in any subject can pursue MS degree.

You must ask the college where you're applying. Email and ask them if it is mandatory for them. Even if they say IELTS is not important to them, the visa issuing Embassy might still require you to write IELTS.

If there is an option of pursuing a dual degree with M.Sc. And B.Ed then you can go right ahead and pursue the course. However, as per an UGC act you will not be able to pursue two separate regular courses at the same time, unless the second course is a distance course from the same or different university. Regards.

Educational Counselor,

Ideally, bank balance equal to one year's total cost of attendance would be enough. Cost of attendance = tuition fees + room boarding charges, living expenses/pocket money + books etc. Roughly that should be equal to $40-60,000 if you've not received any scholarship.
