Hello Taru, India is still primarily an agrarian country. Unfortunately the productivity is low. In addition, lot of it goes waste. Also GoI wants to double incomes of farmers. How is it possible? This can be achieved only if we invest huge money in food science and food technology. This has already started happening and pace is going to increase in future. Hence I feel that there is huge career potential in these two areas.
