The basic difference between the two courses is the study orientation and pattern. M.Tech is a more detailed course with a vast curriculum. Under the M.Tech degree, one has to attend regular classes in order to gain knowledge about the subject. The subject under M.Tech is studied in detail in classes. Shefali you can go for M.Sc Maths if you have studied Maths in your BCA.
Eligibility for N.Sc Maths in most universities is any graduation with Maths as one of the subjects.
There are many good universities offering you the course with many private universities there offering you placement and placement assistance too. Some even offer scholarships.

I think applied physics will be more preferable because you will get plenty of opportunities after the completion of a degree which can help you choose the appropriate career. It is very difficult with theoretical physics. Take care and have a great time. All the best.
