Both courses have good scope if you have good knowledge.
But if you consider financial earning then BDS is better. Also, it is possible to get more chance of earning in BDS as compared to BPT.

Certification is generally nothing more than resume-fodder. It will get you in the door, but practical skills and expertise are what will get you the job and keep you there. MCA has only one good thing that is Masters Title attached to it, which again is useless when you apply for IIT Ph.D, as they don't even consider MCA as a Master’s degree. Even government jobs rarely require MCA. MCA should either be given more importance than what it is given now or it should be scrapped completely. There should be increase in seats for B.Tech, so that instead of B.Sc + MCA. A student can go for B.Tech.
