MCA has only one good thing that is Masters Title attached to it, which again is useless when you apply for IIT Ph.D, as they don't even consider MCA as a Master’s degree. Even government jobs rarely require MCA. MCA should either be given more importance than what it is given now or it should be scrapped completely. There should be increase in seats for B.Tech, so that instead of B.Sc + MCA. A student can go for B.Tech.
