The CEED 2024 exam will be conducted tentatively in the 4th week of January 2024. IIT Bombay will release the announce the admission notification for CEED 2024 tentatively in September 2024. The CEED exam is conducted by IIT Bombay for admission to the M.Des programme offered by the 8 participating colleges. Note that unlike UCEED IIT Bombay will not conduct any Joint Admission Process for CEED 2024 qualified candidates. Instead, candidates will have to apply directly to the participating colleges on the basis of their CEED 2024 merit ranks.
IIT Bombay will open the application form for CEED 2024 tentatively in the last week of September 2023. The application form will open in online mode at the CEED-IIT Bombay admission portal.

<p dir="ltr">The CEED 2026 exam will have two mandatory parts - Part A and Part B. Interestingly, Part B answer booklet will be evaluated only if the candidate qualifies Part A. If the candidate fails to qualify Part A or doesn’t meet the qualifying cut-off, then his or her Part A answer booklet will not be evaluated. </p><p dir="ltr">The scorecards of candidates who fails to meet Part A cut-off would only include Part A marks. Part B and Total marks, along with merit rank, will only be issued to those candidates who meet the cut-off.</p>

However, these institutes may also use scores of other entrance exam for admission purposes.</p><p dir="ltr">So, if you have qualified CEED 2026, you can apply to these institutes. Note that there will be no joint counseling for the result-sharing institutes. So, you need to apply directly to the institute you are seeking admission to.</p>
<p dir="a;ltr">IIT Bombay will <strong>declare the results</strong> of CEED 2026 in the first week of March 2026. The result will be declared online at ceed.iitb.ac.in. To check their results, the candidate needs to log in to the result portals using their login ID. Hard copies of the results will not be sent to the candidate.</p><p dir="a;ltr">The CEED 2026 results will be released for all candidates who appear in the design entrance exam. The candidate needs to carefully go through the brochure to check their eligibility. </p>
<p dir="ltr">The scorecard for CEED 2026 is meant only for admission to the M.Des program offered by participating and result-sharing institutes. It cannot be used as a proof of birth. Further, the scorecard will also not be a legal document that can be used as a category or disability certificate.</p><p dir="ltr">Also, note that the scorecard of CEED 2026 will be valid only for a period of one year. So, if the candidate doesn’t take admission within that one-year period, the CEED 2026 scorecard will no longer be valid for admission purposes.</p>
