The CEED 2024 exam will be conducted tentatively in the 4th week of January 2024. IIT Bombay will release the announce the admission notification for CEED 2024 tentatively in September 2024. The CEED exam is conducted by IIT Bombay for admission to the M.Des programme offered by the 8 participating colleges. Note that unlike UCEED IIT Bombay will not conduct any Joint Admission Process for CEED 2024 qualified candidates. Instead, candidates will have to apply directly to the participating colleges on the basis of their CEED 2024 merit ranks.

IIT Bombay will open the application form for CEED 2024 tentatively in the last week of September 2023. The application form will open in online mode at the CEED-IIT Bombay admission portal.
The CEED application form is for admission to the M.Des programme offered by participating colleges. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will have to apply before the last date. The CEED application fee is INR 3,600.
IIT Bombay will release the admission notification for CEED 2023 before the commencement of the exam, which will include information like admission schedule, information brochure, etc.

To appear in the CEED 2024 exam, the candidate must have passed a degree, Diploma, or postgraduate degree exam of minimum three years. There is no limit on the upper age limit or number of attempts for appearing in CEED. The eligibility criteria that candidates need to meet for appearing in the CEED have been explained below.

The final key is released after considering the comments given by the candidate against the draft key. It therefore contains the official and correct answers to questions asked in the entrance exam. The candidate doesn’t have the option to challenge the final key.</p><p dir="a;ltr">By consulting the final key, the candidate will be able to calculate probable scores. The draft key will be released in the form of a downloadable PDF.</p><p>The draft key can be downloaded online from the CEED 2026 admission portals - ceed.iitb.ac.in. No login is required to download the answer key. To download the answer key, simply click on the answer key download link and download the PDF. Part A will include NAT, MSQ, and MCQ questions, and there is <strong>negative marking </strong>for MSQ and MCQ-type questions. <p dir="a;ltr">The topics listed in the CEED syllabus is indicative in nature. Also, the syllabus is exhaustive in the sense that questions may be asked from all or some of the topics. So, the candidate can&rsquo;t skip any topics when preparing for CEED.&nbsp;</p><p dir="a;ltr">The candidate is urged to go through the previous years' question papers to get an idea about the paper structure and types of questions asked. That being said, keep in mind that the syllabus has been revised for CEED.</p>

<p>IIT Bombay will conduct the CEED 2026 exam on January 18, 2026 (9 am - 12 noon).</p><p>The exam will include two sections - Part A and Part B. Part A of the exam will be administered in a computer-based mode, whereas Part B will be held offline. It is mandatory for candidates to qualify for Part A.&nbsp;</p><p>If the candidate fails to qualify for Part A, his or her Part B answers booklet will not be evaluated.&nbsp;</p><p>The final score cum merit list of CEED 2026 will be calculated by giving weightage to both Part A and Part B.</p>

<p>The CEED test consists of 41 questions that students must answer correctly. NAT, MCQ, and MSQ questions are all included in Part A of the CEED exam. In the CEED Part A exam, candidates can receive up to 100 marks. It has a 25% weight. Part A will consist of a one-hour computer-based test. Take note that there are two parts to the CEED exam: Part A and Part B. It is required to complete both sections. A candidate will not be considered for admission if they attempt Part A but not Part B.</p>
