<p>HPCET paper will consist of three subjects - Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. Each subject will have two sections i.e., Section A will have 20 questions while Section B will have 40 questions. In Section A, all 20 questions have to be compulsorily attempted, while 30 questions have to be attempted from Section B. A total of 150 objective multiple-choice questions have to be attempted within 3 hours 15 minutes. No extra time will allotted to the candidates to complete the entrance examination. All of the questions will be prepared as per the units and topics in the official HPCET syllabus.</p>

<p>No, the NIPER JEE question paper test the aptitude of aspirants on the basis of objective type questions only. The candidates will be asked Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs)/objective type questions only out of which candidates have to choose one option. For every correct answer, the candidate will get one mark and for every incorrect response, -0.25 mark will be deducted. Questions not-attempted will not carry any mark.&nbsp;</p>

The difficulty level of the examination is from easy to moderate. But, a few questions might trick your mind and be time-consuming. General Knowledge and Analytical and Logical Reasoning were easier than Quantitative Aptitude and the level was easy to moderate.

IIT JEE is a single - stage objective type examination consisting of two papers of three hours duration each to test comprehension & analytical ability of candidates. Both papers, paper-1 and paper-2 will each have three separate sections on physics, chemistry & mathematics.
