Congratulations on Scoring 87 percentile in CET. IES MCRC has a high cut off and your score would be a little less to get through for MS. But I would advise you that you should even opt for PGDM and for that you stand a fare chance to get through. But you do need to work hard and prepare well for GD and PI.

Well yes, you can apply for an M.Sc. in microbiology after your B.Sc. But for better scope choose M.Sc. Biotechnology since it covers more areas of Biology. So, it will be nice in terms of job perspective.
